Zoom In

There are two ways to narrow in on a specific area (i.e. show less area with more detail)

  1. Select the point where you wish the centre of your new map to be. Each "click" zooms in approximately 2 times.
  2. Outline the area you wish to see in more detail by ”pulling" or dragging the cursor until a rectangle is formed over.

Zoom Out

To show more area in the map frame, move the cursor to where you want the centre of your new map to be and “click”. You will see approximately 2 times more area with each "click".

Reposition
Allows you to adjust the map by moving it to the left, right, up or down. This can be done in two ways:

  1. click a point in the map window and a new view or map will be created centered on that location; or,
  2. drag the visible map by selecting a point and holding down on the mouse as you move it across the Main Map Frame.

Initially, general primary land use information will be displayed in the Information Frame (e.g., area name, land use designation, etc). Links to each associated policy report, new interactive map of the area, as well as the tile map(s) are also provided.
